I finally made a youtube channel and found out Pinkies been breaking the fourth wall forever ago.

The subbed version of Sonic X puts your abilities to shame.

You tap on the fourth wall, occasionally.

But Sonic and company (mostly Eggman, Decoe, and Bocoe)? They smash it, for three continuous minutes, completely acknowledging their existence in a cartoon. Even Amy has gone and deliberately called out the show by name, telling Sonic he's the hero of it and he should act like it.

I'm speaking primarily of Episodes 20 and 26 so far... Sweet Celestia. Just finished Season 1.

When a character attempts to break the fourth wall, it may disturb a suspension of disbelief. A reader may not want to participate in the story as a character. Or the world in the reader’s mind is too different from the world in the writer's mind.

It may be especially disturbing if the author switches to the second person narration.

After getting Chapter 12 up, I ended up getting a review on another site questioning a line in Chapter 9 between Pinkie Pie and Eddy. I made an appropriate adjustment to fit the dialogue between them.

On a rainy night when the world has turned into black and white, a card game was going on a particular street in Ponyville. Inside a cafe where all the lights except for one that shines down on a table. Discord looked up from his hand at the stallion across from him. This said stallion held up his cards like a shield, scanning through his glasses.
